Three Tips for Mindset Success This Year
Jan 07, 202012 new chapters, at least 366 opportunities (bonus leap day this year and I bet you can find multiple moments in any given day) for creating more of the life you want.
Is this the year things finally change for you? You perhaps take a risk and see that long-awaited dream come true? Maybe you feel ready to take on that challenge that has been whispering to you for years now? Or you know you want something to happen but you aren’t sure what that looks like yet?
Harness what you already have to get it! Your mind and what you believe about yourself and your life.
We have talked before about how your mind is the only thing you can really control. Looking at these 12 chapters and 366 plus opportunities ahead of you, it’s a good time to revisit the power inside that beautiful head of yours.
The Tips
- Recognize when the gremlins are poking around. What limits you, kills your dreams, and keeps you stuck is not anything to do with your disability, but how your mind is perceiving the difficulties of living with one.
- Flip that script. Turn that negative thinking into a positive one, even if you don’t believe it at first. Everyone takes their cue on how to treat you from you. So for example, put yourself in the mindset of attracting the right people for you, rather than “no one will give me a chance.”
- Want something (or someone) MORE than the fear of losing it or not having it. A million and one things can go wrong in pursuing the life you want. Does focusing on that get you any closer to where or who you want to be with? Placing your attention on what you desire, puts your focus and energy more in a motivational mindset. You may always feel the fear because you’re human. Just don’t allow it to dominate.
Why This Is So Important When You Live With A Disability?
Brutally honest here. The odds are already stacked against you by throwing every day extra challenges into your life. Do yourself a solid favor and make things easier for you by believing in POSSIBILITIES over limitations because:
Every belief has a consequence. Your beliefs either heal you or harm you. They either support your aspirations or thwart them. Beliefs become the source of your limitation or liberation.
